Job Description

• General Duties:

  • Scrub tech for cardiac angiograms/interventions, neuro angiograms/interventions, vascular endograph/peripheral vascular angiograms/interventions, and pacemaker implants/device cases.
  • Possibility of EP and structural heart procedures based on candidate experience.

• Equipment Utilized:

  • EPIC, CUPID, GE MAC Lab/Cardio Lab.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum Experience: 2 years in the CVT role.
• Proficiencies:

  • Proficient with roles of a CVT, scrubbing the specified procedures, and sterile technique.
  • RCIS/RCES certification strongly desired.

Licensures and Certifications

• Required:

  • BLS - AHA
  • RCIS/RCES
  • NDMIRT

Shift and Schedule

• Shifts: 4-10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
• Call Rotation: Every 3-4 weekends and 1 night of call per week.
• Team Structure: 4-person call team; candidates will not work alone.

Unit Information

• Bed Size: 8 cath lab rooms with 1 procedure room.
• Dress Code: Hospital scrubs provided.
• Training and Orientation: Tailored to candidate's experience, including 1-2 days with a mentor.

Additional Information

• Recent experience in the field is required.
• Proficiency with coronary stent interventions is necessary.
• EP experience is a plus but not required.
• Candidates should indicate any required time off during the assignment.
