Rotating shifts - no straight days or nights available
Tele and PCU experience required
2 years experience, unit will accept 1st time travelers
This unit is a 34 bed, 6 progressive and 15 total telemetry patients. It is a primary unit for Neurology, Neurosurgery, and ENT. Patients are admitted with diagnoses of stroke, seizures, dementia, neuromuscular disorders. Neurosurgery patients admitted with head, neck, back trauma and elective surgeries. ENT patients with radical neck surgery due to trauma, cancer.

Job requirements

Virginia state nursing license required
2 years of relevant nursing experience

Rotating shifts; no straight days or nights available

Unit specific information

Unit will accept 1st time travelers

Additional Details

Certifications expiring within 1 month from start of contract will not be accepted by VCU
No onsite renewals offered; renewals must be scheduled by the agency
