- Patient Population: Adolescents to Geriatrics
- General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: No Block Scheduling; mixed MS/Tele and Intermediate patients, neuro (small population), respiratory, cardiac, mixed medical, titrating cardiac drips required and tele required; assignments could be all PCU, all MS/Tele, or a mix of PCU and MS/Tele depending on the acuity of the patients and staffing
- Ratio / Census: Ratio: 1:4-5; Please note this unit has a high staffing ratio
- Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- RTO: MAX 7 days
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Floating: Yes, within facility
- Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays
- Major Holidays are listed below: New Year’s Eve and Day: Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1, Memorial Day: Monday, May 27, Independence Day: Thursday, July 4, Labor Day: Monday, September 2, Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 28 & Friday November 29, Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25
- Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule

Schedule information
- Photo ID Required
- AHA or ARC accepted. RQI Certs acceptable
- EFM/AWHONN - Facility requires staff to take an online course within a few months of hire
- Annual Nursys (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) within 30 days prior to start date
- State License verification (if applicable) - within 30 days prior to start date
- Candidate must review/sign prior to start
- Piedmont - Code of Conduct and Acknowledgement
- Candidate must review
- Piedmont - Dress and Professional Appearance Policy
- Required for RNs and LVNs by Aya only. Not required by Client
- Exam waived for acute care inpatient Case Managers
- Alert lead CL for any CBE’s that are lower than 80% so this can be escalated to the facility to confirm next steps
- Required for ALL candidates regardless of TB result. Must be updated annually
- 2 MMR Vaccines or Positive Titer
- Low/Equivocal Titers can be covered by EITHER: Record of 2 dose series in their lifetime OR 2 boosters after titer
- Background Check required within 30 days of start
- Candidate must upload their vaccine information into Piedmont’s Workforce Vaccination Tracker (during orientation week for new travelers)
- Candidates who choose to decline the vaccination must complete a declination form and sign a digital declination in the Piedmont’s Workforce Vaccination Tracker
