Job Description

The Staff Nurse, RN is responsible for providing professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes. Key responsibilities include:

• Developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
• Providing direct patient care as the primary caregiver.
• Collaborating with care team members, physicians, and patients/families to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Accessing confidential patient information and making independent decisions in collaboration with others.
• Working under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Nursing.

Additional Requirements

• Candidates may be required to float to similar units or other locations (Adena Greenfield, Adena Pike, and Adena Fayette).
• Must work every other weekend.
• Certifications Required: ACLS & BLS.
