Critical Care RN - New ICU Unit - Opened a year ago!
Hospital with 36 licensed Inpatient Beds and 10 ICU beds.
Expanding cardiac services, higher acuity patients and need Critical Care Trained Nurse.
Provides care to the hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients in a cardiac medical surgical unit.
Anticipated patient populations include pediatrics, pre and post PCI care, pacemaker, revascularization, carotid endarterectomy, thoracotomy, CHF, COPD, DKA, renal failure, DVT, PE, sepsis and a broad scope of surgical services.

Job requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent and Degree from an Accredited Nursing Program.
Advanced Nursing Principles and Procedures; Critical care, CVICU, and open heart experience preferred.
Current State of Montana RN Licensure.

Additional Details

Staff will expect patients in relative stability while recognizing diagnoses may require skilled assessment and intervention tools for potential deteriorating conditions.
Acts as a clinical leader and assists with precepting staff.
Provides direct care for patients in the Hospital from admission to discharge in all aspects of care including discharge planning.
