- Must be willing to float to the floor as 'helping hands' or 1:1 sitter
Job requirements
- Shifts 0645-1515 M-F
- 1-2 times per week on call 1515-0645
- Every 3-4 weeks Friday 1515-Mon 0645
- Rotating holidays
- Call response time of 15 minutes
- 8 hour reprieve shifts for post call
- Sleep room available
Schedule information
- 2 CVOR suites
- 1-3 cases per day
- Common Cases: open hearts, thoracotomies, VATS, AAA, carotids
- OR techs available
- Self-scheduling and block scheduling available
- Scrub Color/Dress Code provided
- 3-4 days hospital clinical orientation
- 4-5 days unit based orientation
- 2 buddy call shifts
- Flexible orientation based on heart experience
Unit specific information
- No scrubbing required for RNs
- EPIC EMR system
- Charge Nurse for all shifts 7a-11p M-F
- Radius Rule: 50 miles
