Job requirements

RN qualification
Night shift availability
Open Heart surgery training experience

Schedule information

13 Weeks contract length
Every other Weekend/Holiday schedule
0630-1830, 1830-0630 shifts available
Self scheduling for core staff, travelers added in
Every other weekend requirements
Rotating holiday requirements
Typically floats to PCU, possibly to MedSurg
3 shifts of unit/department specific orientation

Unit specific information

Health Support Tech available M-F 0800-1630
Nurse aids/patient care techs on unit with specified ratios and duties
RN Equipment handling from nasal cannula to vent
RNs are required to read and interpret their own monitoring strips
Common titratable &/or set rate drips: any cardiac drip, insulin, sedation

Additional Details

Radius Rule: 50 miles
Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract)
Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions
No blocked scheduling or same schedule/shifts approval
Must be flexible and willing to float and work when needed
Common diagnoses/Types of patients include adults and pediatrics with various conditions such as sepsis, post-stent, etc.
