Position: PCU Cardiac Step Down
Shift: 3x12's Nights
Estimated Patient Ratios: 1:3
Experience and Skills Required:
2 years of PCU experience required
BCLS/ACLS/NIH certifications required
IV start and telemetry skills required
EPIC experience required
Key Responsibilities:
Provide patient care in a lower acuity cardiac PCU unit.
Work weekend shifts based on the organization's needs.
Rotate holidays as required.
Float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity when necessary.
Preferred Experience:
Cardiac experience preferred

Job requirements

2 years of PCU experience required
BCLS/ACLS/NIH certifications required
IV start and telemetry skills required
EPIC experience required
Cardiac experience preferred

Schedule information

Shift: 3x12's Nights
Work weekend shifts based on the organization's needs.
Rotate holidays as required.

Additional Details

Required if candidate is using a compact license from any state other than Ohio.
Check UD/Unit Cost Center Link to determine certifications required per unit.
AHA only (Instructor/Provider and RQI acceptable). Letter of completion not acceptable.
Travelers can renew ACLS at the facility. Please reach out for instructions.
Travelers can renew BLS at the facility. Please reach out for instructions.
Required for ER, ER OB, and ER Psych.
Check UD/Unit Cost Center Link to determine certifications required per unit.
Travelers can renew PALS at the facility. Please reach out for instructions.
Required for L&D, Post-Partum, and OB.
Check UD/Unit Cost Center Link to determine if required for any other units.
Required within 30 days of start.
Surgical Technologists: National cert not required
SPT: IAHCSMM or CBSPD certifications are preferred, not required
Required annually.
