Job Description

• Shifts: 4 shifts of 10 hours each, with 2 overnights on call. Weekends are on call only.
• Housing: Shared housing provided at no cost.
• Certifications Required:

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certified by ARDMS
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

Additional Information

Required Credentials

1. MGB Nantucket Housing Agreement: Required upon hire if staying in NCH housing.
2. MGB FEMA ICS 100 Training: Must be completed, no exceptions.
3. BLS Certification: Preferred from AHA, Red Cross, or Military.
4. License/Certificate Verification: Primary source verification required within 30 days of start date.
5. Fit Test: N95 fit test required within 365 days of start date, updated annually.
6. COVID-19 Vaccine: Completed primary series required; no exemptions considered.
7. MMR Vaccination: Documentation of two measles, two mumps, and one rubella vaccine or proof of immunity.
8. Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30).
9. TB Test: Documentation of TB skin test or negative QuantiFERON TB Test required within 3 months of start date.
10. Health Statement: Signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date.
11. MGB Criminal Background Check: Required within 45 days prior to start date.
12. MGB Education Verification: Verification of highest level of education achieved.
13. MGB References: Two recent references required, including at least one supervisor.
14. MGB Skills Checklist: Required for submission.
15. MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form: Required upon acceptance of assignment.

Preferred Credentials

• Hepatitis B Vaccination: Record of 3 vaccines or proof of immunity.
• Tdap Vaccination: Preferred within 10 years.

Additional Requirements

• MGB Submission Checklist: Required for submission.
• MGB National Sex Offender Check: Conducted within 30 days of start and annually.
• MGB Exclusion Checks: Required for all initial assignments and extensions.
