Job Description

  • Requires 1 year of strong trauma experience.
  • Shift: 4x10s (four 10-hour shifts).
  • Licenses/Certifications:
    • NJDEP License required prior to start.
    • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are mandatory.
  • Work Schedule: Every other weekend required.
  • Patient Mix: Primarily adults, with some pediatric cases.
  • Experience: Must have experience in hospital/acute care settings. Experience with Siemens equipment is highly preferred.
  • Scrub Color: Black scrubs top and bottom.

Required Certifications

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support): Required for various units including Interventional Radiology, ED, and Adult Critical Care Units.
  • BLS: Basic Life Support certification required.
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure): Required for specific units.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support): Required for Pediatric ER and Acute Care.
  • Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB): Required for ER and Behavioral Health RNs.
  • NIH Stroke Certification: Required for Adult Critical Care specialties.
  • Drug Testing: Required within 30 days of start.

Additional Information

  • Documentation: Various documents are required for compliance, including background checks, health documents, and certifications.
  • Flu Vaccine: Required annually, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons.
  • Fit Testing: Required for respirator use; must be completed onsite.
