    Job details
  • We are looking for a NICU RN who has the experience to LEAD resuscitation in the absence of a provider, if necessary.
  • Our provider is approximately 15 minutes out during the night shift.
  • We care for Level ll NICU babies, no long-term vents or babies less than 32 weeks.
  • We do not perform any surgeries other than circumcision.
  • We have to be prepared to care for any level of gestation that presents to L&D.
  • We then transport those babies to a higher level of care after stabilization.
  • Scrub Color: Navy Blue
    Job requirements
  • 4 years of prior NICU RN experience required
  • Required Work Setting Experience: NICU III, NICU IV
  • Required Experience: Patient Types (Neonates < 24-28 weeks), Dysrhythmia Interpretation/Management, Feedings, Placement/Management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, Iso Precautions, IV Therapy (Arterial line management, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, UAC, UVC), Meds (IV vasopressors, Surfactants, Steroids), Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Vent Management
  • BLS, NRP required
  • First time travelers accepted
  • Epic charting experience required
    Unit specific information
  • Experience to LEAD resuscitation in the absence of a provider, if necessary, especially during the night shift.
  • Care for Level ll NICU babies, no long-term vents or babies less than 32 weeks.
  • No surgeries performed other than circumcision.
  • Be prepared to care for any level of gestation that presents to L&D.

  • I9 or Attestation required.
  • Copy of a valid government-issued Photo ID is required by the contract.
  • Everify or Attestation required.
  • Acceptable in lieu of PALS for ER: ENPC.
