- Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12 - MUST WORK CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS
- Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract
- If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract
- Weekends: Travelers are expected to work every other week per their contract. Pending operational needs, consecutive weekends may be needed based on the greatest need
- Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
- Skillset Preferences: Level 1 Trauma Experience and Oncology Experience
- Skillet Requirements: Minimum 2 Year From A Large Urban or Academic Health Center
- Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals
- Staffing Ratios: 1:4
- Unit Information: inpatient Hematology/Oncology and overflow Stem Cell Transplant patient population
- Effective 9/1, the COVID vaccine is required for all travelers at IU Health campuses. Declinations will not be accepted; however medical or religious exemptions will be accepted with a doctor's note provided.
- Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12 - MUST WORK CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS
- Call-ins: Make-up policy for missed shifts
- Weekends: Every other weekend or as per operational needs
- Charge coverage: May include charge nurse responsibilities with training provided
