As a Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for providing quality patient care within the medical imaging department. Key responsibilities include:

Performing high-quality imaging and exams while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Following standards of safe radiation practice and demonstrating leadership as a role model for other technologists.
Acting as a clinical resource for students, staff, and other hospital personnel.
Conducting diagnostic radiology procedures while adhering to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.
Preparing patients for exams and providing necessary information and support.
Observing patients and equipment during procedures, documenting any unusual occurrences.
Facilitating patient flow and optimal use of equipment/resources.
Communicating effectively with physicians, imaging personnel, and hospital staff.
Assisting with patient transport and performing IV starts and contrast administration as needed.
Maintaining technical operation of equipment and ensuring a clean work area.
Participating in the education of student radiographers and supporting their clinical training.
Engaging in professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Contract Length: 89 days
Experience Requirements:
- Previous Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.
- One year of post-certification experience required for evaluating and instructing student radiographers.
Floating Requirements:
- May be required to float to any Centura location within 60 miles of the original assignment.
- Float assignments may include duties outside of original job requirements in accordance with Centura policy.

Knowledgeable in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging, including Surgery and Trauma.
Strong time management skills and ability to adapt to changing technologies and policies.
Commitment to maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
