  • Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 RNs, 2-3 Medics (increases by 4-5 RNs at 11 AM; 1-2 RNs at 3 PM)
  • Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 5 RNs, 2-3 Medics
• Patient Ratios: 4-6:1

Equipment and Technology

• EMR System: Meditech

Candidate Requirements

Must-Have Skills

• Completion of 2-3 travel assignments
• 2-3 years of ER experience

Preferred Skills

• Experience in high acuity ERs
• Experience in fast-paced ERs with high volume
• Familiarity with patient ratios of 5:1

Typical Procedures Performed

• RSI
• Sepsis interventions
• Stroke protocol with tPA administration
• Central line placement
• Care of psych patients
• Transfers to other facilities (EMTALA)

• BLS
• ACLS

Additional Information

• Floating Areas: None
• Dress Code: Scrub color/attire - navy blue or white
• Weekends and On-Call: No on-call; four weekend shifts (Friday or Saturday for nights; Saturday or Sunday for days) in a four-week scheduling period.
