Required Skills

• Must Have:

  • Telemetry Experience and ability to read EKGs
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced unit with several admissions, discharges, transfers, and procedures

• Ability to set priorities and modify patient care in response to changing conditions
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills
• Timely notification to physicians regarding patient condition changes

Additional Information

• Floating Area(s): Med Surg (low probability of floating)
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs
• Weekends and On-Call: Every 3rd Friday and Saturday (7 PM - 7 AM) plus an additional Friday or Saturday each schedule. Assistance needed for Halloween, the Friday after Thanksgiving, and Christmas night.
