Job Description

The Registered Staff Nurse (RN) at Maple Grove Hospital provides holistic care to patients and their families. The role involves independent, collaborative, and delegated nursing functions, focusing on various patient demographics, including neonates, infants, children, young adults, adults, and older adults. Key responsibilities include:

• Executing the Standards of Nursing Practice: assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Developing and revising patient care plans.
• Coordinating care among disciplines and delegating activities to other care providers.
• Participating in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices.
• Implementing personal leadership qualities to improve practice standards and the environment of care.

Requirements

• Experience:

  • 2 years of Medical Surgical experience (required)
  • 2 years of Acute Care RN experience in a hospital setting (LTC experience will not be considered, required)
• Certifications:

  • BLS (required)
  • Active Minnesota RN License (required)
