Registered Nurse position available at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego.
DON’T SUBMIT IF TRAVELER DOES NOT HAVE PEDS EXPERIENCE.
Okay to submit if not within a dedicated Children's facility.
RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post.

Job requirements

CA License
2+ years of CVPICU/CTICU experience leading up to assignment
PEDS Cardiac exp - MUST be cardiac trained
Heart transplant experience
Willing to float between units
Experience in: Ventilators, multiple monitors, and EKG interpretation

Schedule information

Shifts: 3x12 variable or straight night shifts, 36x48 available
Weekend Requirements: 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
13 week contracts
Requested Time Off: 6 days total (must still get 3 shifts in week)
Must be available to work holidays, no holiday RTO allowed
No RTO requests allowed during this timeframe: 12/22-12/28
*Self scheduling!
Ratio:1:1-2

Unit specific information

The units include PICU, NICU, medical, surgical, hem/onc, medical behavioral unit

Additional Details

Valid photo ID is required
Traveler must present front and back copies on their first day
Traveler could be floated to every unit except OR, PACU and ED
Rare occasion of floating to Bernardy Center
