Job Overview for Registered Nurse Position

Position Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse
Location: Charleston, West Virginia
Facility: CAMC Memorial Hospital, part of CAMC Health System
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift Information

Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 Nights (7 PM - 7 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
Orientation: Held every other week on Thursday

Unit Information

Unit Type: Pulmonary (16 monitored pulmonary/card beds), medicine, cardiac, med/surg adult and geriatric age range
Patient Ratios: 1:5
Skills Required: Cardiac Tele/Telemetry experience required
Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years

Certification Requirements

Required Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
License: WV/Compact RN License required (can submit with pending RN license)

Additional Information

Floating: Can be floated within scope if needed
RTO Restrictions: Discuss with manager during interview

- Candidate profile (work history)
- Specialty specific skills checklist
- Minimum of 2 Manager/Charge References (within past 2 years)
- RN License verification
