  • Certifications Required:
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • NIH (National Institutes of Health)
  • Certifications Preferred:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • Patient Ratio: 1:5
  • Special Equipment:
    • Hoyer lift
    • Alaris IV pumps
    • ENfit feeding pumps
  • Floating: Potentially to other like units
  • Weekends: 8 per contract
  • Experience Required: 2 years
  • Note: The unit does not accept first-time travelers.

Additional Information

Certifications and Documentation

  • Drivers License/State ID: Current/valid required.
  • ACLS: Must be AHA certified; RQI accepted.
  • BLS: AHA only; RQI accepted.
  • PALS: Required for specific nursing specialties.
  • NRP: Required for specific nursing specialties.
  • TNCC: Required for specific nursing specialties.
  • CPI: Required for specific nursing specialties; must be renewed annually.
  • Competency Exam: Specific to specialty; must be updated annually.
  • Photo for Badge: Full color passport-style photo required.
  • Fit Testing: Required for N95 masks; can be completed onsite.
  • Health Documents:
    • Tdap, TB tests, and various vaccinations required.
    • Drug testing required within 30 days of start.
    • COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions may be submitted.

Background and History Checks

  • Criminal Background Check: Required within 30 days of start; includes SSN trace and education verification.
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM: Required within 30 days of start.
