EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - PLEASE NOTE ON SUBMISSION TO PREVENT ANY DELAYS

Effective Immediately, you MUST include your New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate with all nursing submissions. This license is required by the state of NY to staff for temporary needs.

Please check the job posting requirements for the 14 panel drug screen and make sure your agency can run this ENTIRE panel (within 24hrs of offer acceptance) BEFORE you upload your traveler to this need.

As of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from one of following groups for onboarding and clearance. (Training through specific providers required)

2+ years current L&D/LDRP experience

2+ years Post Partum experience

Must be able to care for laboring mothers

Mother/Baby experience

All certificates active & current

Ability to read & interpret EFM

Travel experience encouraged

Must have their own vehicle

Must be reliable! No attendance concerns, call outs, etc... - very patient oriented Unit

Profile Requirements: Work History, Skills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year, 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment), License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current NY License, ACLS, BLS, Permanent Address - Facility will not pend license/certs)

RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!!

NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

Number of Beds: 20

Snuggery: Level 1

Patient census: average 90-100 deliveries per month

EMR: EPIC

Not required to circulate or scrub cesarean sections

Responsible for baby in OR, and mother in PACU with a second nurse

A shared leadership model encourages nursing engagement and decision making at the bedside

NO BLOCK SCHEDULING WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED
