Job Requirements

• License: Active Kansas Registered Nurse License or Compact Multistate RN License
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Hospital RN experience
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

Required Credentials

1. MMR Vaccination: Documented proof of two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer. No declinations accepted.
2. Fit Test: Required for all travelers; preferred to be completed prior to start.
3. Hepatitis B: Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination.
4. Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (October 1 - March 31). Exemptions accepted with mask requirement.
5. Health Statement: Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment.
6. Driver's License/State ID: Must match address on file.
7. 2 Step PPD or IGRA: Required prior to start.
8. Varicella: Documented proof of vaccination or immunity.
9. Tdap: Must not be expired.
10. Ascension Profile: Resume or profile submission.
11. Professional References: At least two professional references required.
12. Criminal Background Check: Must be completed within 30 days of first assignment.
13. Drug Screen: 12 panel drug screen required.
14. Education Verification: Verification of education relevant to clinical work.
15. Ascension Confirmation of Assignment: Must be provided upon initial assignment.
16. Nursys Verification: Required within 30 days prior to start.
17. License/Certificate Verification: Current license verification required.
18. Core Competencies: HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA topics training required.
19. EKG Exam: Must complete with a passing score.
20. Onboarding Requirements: Completion of Ascension onboarding requirements.
