Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)

Patient volume 8-10 procedures per day.

Responsible for diagnostic cardiac or vascular ultrasound that results in providing the cardiologist with measurements and accurate images of cardiac structures for the physician to provide accurate diagnosis.

Provides "immediate feedback" with preliminary reports of critical results to the nurses and physicians in the health system is critical for life-saving treatment intervention.

Assists the physician with studies and aids them in proceeding with complex procedures to decrease potential associated procedural risks including procedures in the OR, Cath lab, and CAD to include TEE and pseudoaneurysm compression.

Safety sensitive position: Under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Use and Patient Protection Act (OMMA), safety sensitive position is defined as any job that includes tasks or duties that the employer believes could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others.

Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program strongly preferred.
