- Job Summary: The CT Technologist performs CT imaging according to established protocol to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician.
- They must demonstrate an understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
- Maintains knowledge in radiation protection and safety.
- Preparation and administration of contrast media is performed in accordance with hospital policy.
- The use of critical thinking, professional and ethical judgment is to be demonstrated in the quality of care delivered.
- Performs CT procedures following the protocols established by the referring physicians or Radiologists.
- Operates CT scanner to produce cross sectional anatomical images of consistent optimal quality.
- Operates CT equipment in a safe and appropriate manner, following established safety guidelines.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- Experience: Relevant Experience (Preferred)
- Hours 7a-4:30p
- All placements at Temple Health either need to be vaccinated or have an agency approved medical or religious exemption for COVID-19.
