Shift: 12HR NIGHTS
RTO: 7 days MAX;
Call Requirement: once every four weeks
Weekends may vary
Ratios: 1:2
36 hours only
Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop)
Orientation tailored to experience and skill level, 12+ weeks
We are open 24/7 - staff based on the need of the OR

Job requirements

Minimum Years of Experience: 2
Traveler Experience: REQUIRED
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
Skills: Must have ICU experience
PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: Charge Nurse Experience, Conscious Sedation, FHM, ICP, Telemetry, Vents, ICU background exp prior to PACU and Pediatric Experience

Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Recovery may take 30 to 90 minutes, depending on when patient reaches criteria for discharge to Phase II, home, post-op tower, or ICU.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Cardiac Monitor, arterial lines, ICP monitoring, dopplers for vascular checks, fetal heart monitor, EKOS, SCD pumps, wound vacs
UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, Perfect Serve
ORIENTATION: Comprehensive, individualized orientation

Additional Details

Any call offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly turn into a cancel and Do Not Return (DNR).
Contract staff will be part of Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team.
Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty, or disaster.
