Required Skills

• Must Have:

  • Telemetry Experience and ability to read EKGs
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced unit with several admissions, discharges, transfers, and procedures

• Ability to set priorities and modify patient care in response to changing conditions
• Good problem-solving skills and judgment
• Timely notification to physicians on patient condition changes

• Floating Areas: Med Surg (low probability of floating)

• Weekend and On-Call Requirements:

  • Every 3rd Friday and Saturday (7 PM - 7 AM)
  • Additional Friday or Saturday (7 PM - 7 AM) each schedule
  • Assistance needed for Halloween, Friday after Thanksgiving, and Christmas night.
