Job details

Backfill at San Juan Regional Medical Center. A 198 bed, level III trauma center including state-of-the-art operating suites. Provides healthcare to the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah. Services include medical, surgical, and rehabilitation. The hospital also provides a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, day surgery center, and extensive imaging and lab testing services. PCI, Mammography and Laboratory awarded accreditation. Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S. Reputation 800 Award in Healthcare.

Job requirements

2 years of experience in Emergency Medicine
Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, Moderate Sedation
Prefer 2 years Emergency Department experience
Common Diagnosis/Treatment: ESRD, Substance Abuse Disorders, Psychological Disorders, COPD, CHF, Abdominal Pain, Chest Pain
Required Education: RN ADN

Schedule information

Shifts: Mids 10am-10pm, 12pm-12am, 3pm-3am
Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Minimum of two weekends a schedule

Number of Beds: 48 with flex space
Patient Ratios: 4:1 Main ED and 6:1 Fast Track
Equipment: Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, QinFlow Blood Warmer, Hospira Plum360, Freestyle and Istat POC, Ultrasound Guided IV.
EHR: Cerner
Patient Population: ESRD, Cirrhosis, COPD, Psychiatric
