  • Special Skills/Experience required: 2 years +
  • All travelers are required to float, while on the interview please inform traveler of the Methodist Floating Policy.
  • Must have: ACLS, BLS, NIH, SEPSIS Education
  • Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: PCCN Certification for TELE, Meditech Experience Preferred
  • Active RN TX License – Temp License is no longer accepted
    Schedule information
  • Shift Detail: 7A - 7:30P / 7P - 7:30A
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift/Workdays: 7A - 7:30P / 7P - 7:30A
  • Weekend – Every other
  • Call Requirements: Yes
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hrs.
    Unit specific information
  • Unit: Telemetry 1 (630)
  • Classification: RN-Tele
  • Documentation system: Meditech
  • Floating policy: As needed
  • Procedures performed on unit: EKG, pre-cath prep, pre-op prep, stroke assessment
  • Dress Code: Scrub Color RN: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket
  • Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy
  • Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed
  • Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
  • Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited
  • Unit Guidelines/Policies: Hourly rounding, bedside shift report, AIDET
