Advanced skills needed: Medical-Surgical experience (i.e. including- experience with various respiratory diseases/illnesses, renal disease, gi illnesses/diseases, tele, CVC’s, indwelling catheters, heparin gtts, etc)
Procedures performed on unit

Schedule information

Scheduling requirements: 4 weekend shifts per 28 day schedule, fall into holiday rotation.
Floating policy: Fall into rotation with other staff

Number of Beds: 30
Patient Ratios: 1:6
Unit staffing description- Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretary, PCTs, Case Management
Type of equipment: walkers, iv pumps, scd’s, etc
Documentation system: Meditech
Patient Experience requirements: 72% - utilizing communication boards
Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs
