Job requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
Current state Registered Nurse Licensure, within state of Colorado. Compact license accepted and Colorado License must be obtained within first 90 days of hire.
Successful completion of EKG course within 4 months of hire.
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Excellent customer service skills.
Active listening skills.
Strong communication skills.
Basic computer knowledge.
Strong organizational skills.
Confidentiality required.
The job requires potential exposure to infectious waste and an assortment of chemicals and pharmaceuticals as well as foul odors.
Exposure to environmental factors including heat, cold, precipitation such as snow and rain, and wind is possible.

Schedule information

Work schedule requirements: Night Shift 6p-6a

Unit specific information

ICU: Minimum of 1 year ICU/Inpatient experience preferred.
FBC: Successful completion of basic fetal monitoring course within 4 months of hire.
FBC: NRP certification within 4 months of hire.
