The Computed Tomography Technologist (CT) performs high quality CT examinations in accordance with established protocols on patient populations ranging from neonate through geriatrics for interpretation by a physician.

National Certs REQ: BLS, ARRT (CT), SCRQSA (CT)

Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (CT), as well as Computed Tomography and South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.

Pending State License accepted: No, must have in hand at time of start

Is on-call REQ? Yes – call is every 3rd week M-Thu 5p-6a

Will this traveler float between service lines? No

Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No

Local Radius: 60 miles

Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less the posted bill rate

Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.

Special Requirements: Required skills include starting IV, Contrast, Biopsies, PACS system.
