Pros
I came here as staff on Pavilion 5, which is a STICU/Neuro Trauma ICU. ***ALWAYS** Safe ratios, acuity considered for assignments. Multiple code teams per shift to prevent staff from falling behind in their duties. Only respond to certain floors. Alaris pumps, sky lifts, epic charting with macro capabilities. Tugs to bring meds. Residents always available. Night time educators. AMAZING education department (they teach the whole CCRN class for free for staff!). Self scheduling. Rarely float, and they actually keep track of when you do. Primarily float to ICUs. RARELY float to step downs, never floors that I’ve seen. Truly amazing place to work. I’d retire here if it wasn’t so far from home and I didn’t have to be on nights.
