Job details

Registered Nurse position at James Cancer Hospital and Research
Staffing ratios goal is 1:4, but can be 1:5
Weekends variable based on unit needs
No set/blocked scheduling offered to permanent staff
Self-schedule requests must be entered for preferred scheduling
First week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift, second week is 36hrs on-unit orientation
Floating to other Med/Surg and Oncology Units

Job requirements

Oncology experience preferred but not required
Skills Required include MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias
Use of Rapid Response Teams, Feeding tube care and management
IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Blood Product Administration
Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management
PICC line management, Starting IVs

Patients Diagnoses: Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, Acute leukemias
