  • Shift: 3x12D/N or N 36HRS *Rotating shifts can vary between switching between days and nights within the same week and/or working a few weeks of days and then a few weeks of nights. Flexibility is a must*
  • On Call/Weekend Requirement: no on call requirement; weekend requirement within rotation
  • Start Date: 11/18, 12/02
  • **Holiday Coverage needed**
  • Patient Diagnosis: Post-transplant (liver, kidney/pancreas, small intestine, islet cell, multivisceral), ESLD, ESRD, thoracic/abdominal/ENT/Flaps/General surgery, sepsis, multisystem organ failure, pre-transplant hepatology patients, overflow from neurosurgery (craniotomy, CVA, etc.), overflow from MICU.
  • **Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity**
  • *May come into contact with Covid Patients*
  • Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care; Teaching Hospital
  • Ratio: 1:2
  • Total Staffed Beds: 402
  • **This facility requires that all employees have the Flu vaccine**
    Job requirements
  • - pending DC RN license accepted but MUST have licensure in hand prior to start date on assignment (**Aya Paid OPEN LICENSE PROJECT**)
  • - 2 years of experience; skills required in Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, IV insulin protocols, GI surgery, Chronic/Acute Renal failure and IV therapy, CVA/Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drains (EVD), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, Post Neurosurgery management, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Respiratory/Thoracic care, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac
  • - 1 prior travel assignment completed
  • - BLS
  • - ACLS
  • - BSN preferred
  • - Charge Nurse experience preferred
  • - Cerner charting experience required
