- Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, applies the nursing process to the care of patients.
- Teaches patients and significant others.
- Documents patient care in the medical record.
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient.
- MCU is a 1:3-4 ratio, primarily 1:4
- ICU is 1:2 or 1:1 depending on acuity.
- If we have overflows 1:3.
- Intermediate or progressive care experience.
- Must be able to read and interpret rhythms and cardiac drips.
- In ICU we are a mostly medical ICU. It is an open ICU and we have a Tele-intensivist.
- We take post PCI/ STEMI or other cath lab pts.
- Need experience with radial and groin PCI access and bleed management but do not pull sheaths.
- Need experience with temp pacing, prefer balloon pump and Impella but those two are not required.
