Nursing position available at a designated Medical Care Unit. Facility utilizes Meditech 6.0 EMR system and standard nursing equipment like BiPAP (Stable), Mid/Flow, PD, Heparin Gtts, Phillips Cardiac Monitors.

Job requirements

Willingness to work weekends as assigned.
Ability to handle admission/discharge high turnover daily.
No history of attendance concerns.
Positive outgoing attitude and good understanding of HCAHP importance preferred.

Schedule information

Shift patterns include Day and Night shifts with varying numbers of staff and patient ratios of 6:1. Dress code requires Navy Scrubs and any closed-toe and heel shoe. Every other weekend and major holidays are mandatory with no call requirements.

Unit specific information

32-bed unit with a staff count of 45.
Types of procedures performed are mainly Cardio-pulmonary, non-arrhythmia cardiac monitoring, and stable Covid-19 patients care.
Patients per nurse ratio is set at 6:1.
