Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (APEX)

Role: Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU in the 18 bed Beacon Designated Intensive Care Unit at Roseview/Neuro ICU

This position provides optimal patient care utilizing knowledge and skills within the context of the nursing process.

The incumbent is accountable for individualized patient outcomes over an entire episode of care.

This position provides comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, including their families/caregivers.

The RN coordinates care between other professionals as needed.

Preferred experience caring for post Alteplase and/or post Thrombectomy patients.

Preferred experience caring for post neurosurgical patients with external ventric drains.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36

Call Requirements: Call is not required

Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.

May be required to work major holidays and is required to pick up one additional shift during schedule period.

Renown has the right to call off, without penalty, 48 hours, for low census per 13-week contract.

This may be full or partial shifts.

Schedule varies based upon department needs.

Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.

In addition to our large neuro population, we also care for general medical ICU patients which encompass all types of general medical disease processes including DKA, sepsis, and respiratory.
