Job Summary

• Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care.
• Evaluates health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data.
• Provides health teaching and counseling.
• Delivers therapy and treatment that supports and restores life and well-being, either directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others.
• Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
• Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans.
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Promotes the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health and abides by service behavior standards.
• May be required to float to other departments based on business needs and may be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.

Contract Length

• 90 days

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Knowledge, skills, education, training, licensure, and experience required for the role.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.
