Job Description

• Seeking a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) to fill a position due to a traveler leaving after their contract.
• Shifts: Day/rotating, 8 or 10-hour shifts.
• Call: One weekday call in a 2-week period and rotating weekend call.

Required Credentials

1. BLS Certification: AHA (American Heart Association) only.
2. License/Certificate Verification: Completed within 30 days prior to start.
3. State License Verification: Verification from state board as required for position.
4. Arnot Skills Checklist: Must be fully complete and updated annually.
5. Arnot Core Competency Exam: Must score 80% or higher.
6. COVID-19 Vaccine: Proof of vaccine or agency declination.
7. MMR: Positive IgG titer or 2 vaccine series required.
8. Fit Test: Must be completed prior to start, within the last 12 months.
9. Hepatitis B: Positive antibody titer, 3 vaccine series, or declination form required.
10. Influenza Vaccine: Required or declination form.
11. TB Test: Must have one of the following:

    • 2 skin PPDs (1 within 12 months, 1 within 3 months)
    • 1 Quant/Spot within 12 months.
12. Driver's License/State ID: Valid and not expired.
13. Varicella: Positive IgG titer or 2 vaccine series required.
14. Tdap: Preferred, not required.
15. Social Security Card: Required.
16. Physical/Health Statement: Must be from within the last 12 months.
17. Arnot Color Headshot: Straightforward headshot required.
18. Background Check: Must be completed within 30 days of start.
19. Drug Screen: Must test for specified drugs, excluding marijuana.
20. Resume: Must include all employment and education history.
21. Professional References: 2 references required.
22. Job Description Acknowledgment: Signed and dated.
23. Employment Verification: Verification of most recent employer required.
24. Education Verification: Required for specific roles.
