Ratios 2:1 (can flex up to 3:1 in high census and nurse must be comfortable with this if needed).
Average Daily Census 11-12
Weekend Requirement: EVERY OTHER WEEKEND
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Comprehensive stroke center. Patient population includes strokes (ischemic, hemorrhagic [SAH]), SDH, craniotomies, carotid stents, carotid endarterectomies, aneurysm coiling/clipping, seizures, Depth electrodes, myasthenia gravis. Drains used: EVDs, LDs, hemovacs, Camino (ICP monitoring)
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Comprehensive Stroke Center
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: EVD, Lumbar Drains, Camino, LICOX, NICOM and Arctic Sun.
UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
SCHEDULING TYPE: Per the Unit Needs
UNIT ORIENTATION: 24.0 Hours; 2 days or 2 nights
SCRUBS: Navy blue & White.

Job requirements

Minimum Years of Experience: 2 year Experience
Traveler Experience: Unit Will Accept 1st Time Travelers
***Strong Neuro experience, MUST BE 2 YEARS, NO LESS***
***Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for, this specialty***
***MUST have 2 YEARS in NEURO ICU, IF NOT PLEASE REDIRECT***
***STRONG Neuro Critical Care Background, not just general ICU. If they do not have, PLEASE DO NOT SEND!***

RTO after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a Cancel and DNR
