Job details

Clinical review and auto offer. The Inpatient Oncology unit located on 3 South, is a 28 bed adult acute care hematology/oncology unit as well as a 15-bed intermediate care (IMU) Stem Cell Transplant Unit (SCTU). The nurse to patient ratio for 3 South is 1:4. Days. Can offer 36 or 48 hours. 1/6 start. 13 weeks. Every other weekend, every other holiday. If starts 12/9 would need to be available for 2 out of 3 winter holidays. Can approve 40 hours max for time off. Must adhere to UVAs float policy. Can submit with VA license pending. Must have Epic experience.

Job requirements

Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Virginia
Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred not required - specific to the Inpatient Oncology unit for emergency scenarios
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification not explicitly required but may be preferred given the potential emergency nature of the role
Epic systems proficiency

Schedule information

36 or 48 hours per week
Day shifts
Start date: 1/6 or 12/9 with holiday availability considerations
