Schedule Requirements

• Hours: 0700-1730
• Shifts: 4 ten-hour shifts, Monday to Friday
• On-Call Requirement: 9-12 days of call per month, 1-2 call nights per week, and every third weekend

Minimum Experience

• Experience Required: 2 years

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• EPIC experience required

Unit Information

• Department: Invasive Cardiology
• Facilities: 3 procedural labs and a 12-bed prep and recovery area
• Procedures: Cath, EP, and peripheral vascular cases
• Team Composition: 7 skilled invasive cardiologists and electrophysiologists, RNs, and technologists
• Capabilities: Advanced STEMI and cardiac arrest treatment options (e.g., Impella and ECMO)

Additional Information

• COVID Care: Potential to care for COVID patients
• Facility Policy: Tobacco and fragrance-free environment

Call and Weekend Requirements

• Weekends: Every third weekend
• Call: 9-12 days of call per month, including 1-2 call nights per week

Health and Background Requirements

• Physical Exam: Required within 90 days of start
• TB Testing: Negative QGold or TSpot required within 90 days of start
• Vaccinations:

  • TDAP vaccine required within 10 years
  • Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Hepatitis B vaccinations or positive titers required
  • Flu vaccination required during flu season
  • COVID-19 vaccination required
• Background Check: 7-year criminal background check required within 30 days of start
• References: 2 professional references required within 3 years of start

Compliance and Documentation

• Fingerprinting: PA FBI Fingerprinting required within 1 year of start
• Education Verification: Required for all clinical assignments
