Employment Details

• Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: IMC, 7 PM - 7 AM, Every Other Weekend

Required Certifications

• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA only)
• BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA only)
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA only)
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (AHA/AAP only)
• CHEMO - Chemotherapy (as applicable)
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course (as applicable)
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring (as applicable)
• NIH Stroke Certification - Required for all RNs except OR, PACU, and Family Birth Pavilion (must be updated annually)
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute (as applicable)
• Tech Cert Verification - National (as applicable)
• State License Verification (primary source verification required)
• NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP)

Health Requirements

• Physical Exam - Required within 1 year of start
• Fit Mask - Required within 1 year of start
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap - Required for units working with children
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray - Required within 1 year of start
• Drug Testing - Negative 9 Panel Drug Screen required within 30 days prior to start
• Flu Vaccine - Required during flu season
• COVID-19 Vaccination - Not required for certain locations, but documentation is needed for tracking purposes

Background Checks

• 7-Year Criminal Search - Required within 30 days of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM - Required within 30 days of start
• HHS/OIG - Required within 30 days of start
• References - Two professional references required within 1 year of start

Additional Information

• I9 or Attestation - Required prior to start
• Government Issued Photo ID - Required
• Confidentiality Agreement - Must be signed prior to start
• Dress Code - Must be reviewed prior to start
