Job Description

• Candidates must complete an interview to obtain an offer.
• A COVID vaccination card is required at submission.
• Proficiency in cardiac ablations is highly preferred, specifically in setting up for A-fib RF/PFA/Cryo ablations.
• Familiarity with Carto 3, Ensite X, Rhythmia Opal mapping systems, Boston Scientific LsPro recording system, and MicroPace stimulator is also preferred.

Requirements

• Licensure: RCIS or ARRT required. NJ State license required if traveler has ARRT; can submit without state license.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• Experience: EP (Electrophysiology) experience is required.

Shift Details

• Flexible start and end times from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
• No weekends or federal holidays.
• Call requirements Monday to Friday starting at 6:30 PM until the end of cases, one week every 4-5 weeks. Must be within 30 minutes of the facility to take call.

• Charting System: Meditech
• Local Definition: Local is defined as within 75 miles.

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical Exam: Must be completed within 72 hours of signing the contract.
• Fit Mask Testing: Required for all clinical positions.
• Vaccinations:

  • Flu shot is mandatory.
  • COVID-19 vaccination series and booster required.
  • Proof of immunizations for MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, and TB testing is required.

Background and Verification

• A 7-year background check is required.
• Two references are required; one must be from a supervisor/manager within the last 12 months.
• Employment verification for the last 7 years is required.

Skills and Competencies

• Unit-specific skills checklist is required.
• Competency exams must be passed with a minimum score of 80%.
