Job Description

• Minimum Experience: 2 years; first-time travelers are accepted.
• Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics.
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIH (National Institutes of Health)

  • NGT (Nasogastric Tube)
  • Chest tubes
  • Feeding tubes

Work Environment

• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Beds: 34 with an average daily census of 27
• Unit Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Scheduling and Availability

• RTO (Request Time Off): Maximum of 7 days
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• Floating: Yes, within the facility
• Call Requirements: None
• Holidays: Expected to work one major holiday if it falls within the assignment period; if two major holidays fall within the assignment period, expected to work both.

Compliance and Pre-Screening

• Full compliance is required to start on time; non-compliance may result in a 2-week delay due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.
• Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine fit before being sent to the manager for final decision.

Health and Safety Requirements
