Job Title: Inpatient Pharmacist Facility: Baptist Health Floyd Location: 1850 State St, New Albany, IN 47150 Job Type: Contract – 13-week duration Shift: Night Shift (3x12-Hour) 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Compensation and Benefits: • Weekly Gross: $2,946.00 Per Week • On W2(Taxable): $846.00 Per Week ($23.50/hour) • Stipend (Non-Taxable): $2,100.00 Per Week Job Overview: Baptist Health Floyd is seeking an experienced Clinical Inpatient Pharmacist for a 7 on, 7 off night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). This position requires an individual with at least 3 years of clinical pharmacist experience and a strong background in inpatient pharmacy settings. The successful candidate will possess EPIC experience and hold an active Pharmacist license (IN license can be in process). This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled pharmacist to join a dynamic healthcare team and provide essential medication therapy management in a hospital setting. Key Responsibilities: • Provide pharmaceutical care to patients in an inpatient hospital setting. • Ensure proper medication therapy management, including dispensing, preparing, and administering medications. • Conduct drug utilization reviews and monitor medication regimens for effectiveness, safety, and cost-effectiveness. • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide patient education on drug therapy and potential side effects. • Utilize EPIC for electronic health record documentation, medication orders, and patient management. • Provide clinical pharmacy services including medication consultations, therapeutic drug monitoring, and dosage adjustments. • Participate in hospital rounds with the healthcare team and contribute to care planning. • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, including safety and regulatory standards. • Participate in orientation and training for new pharmacy staff. Requirements: • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical pharmacist experience in an inpatient setting. • Licensure: o RPh (Registered Pharmacist) required. o Indiana Pharmacist License (or in process) is required. • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. • EPIC experience is mandatory. Other Requirements: • Must be able to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM). • Must be able to float to different units as needed. • COVID-19 Vaccine is required, with medical/religious exemptions only. Facility Information: • Unit: Inpatient Pharmacy Unit (BHFLO-Pharmacist, 4050076000). • The facility has a supportive pharmacy team and operates in a 7 on 7 off shift model for a balanced work-life schedule.
