MRI Technologist Location: Huntington, WV Facility Address: 2900 1st Ave, Huntington, WV 25702 Unit: 7051 | MRI Tech Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks) Shift Options: 4x10-Hour Shifts (12:30 PM - 11:00 PM) 2x16-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM - 11:00 PM) + 1x8-Hour Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) May be required to work one weekend per contract (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Block Schedules: Not available Job Description: We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team on a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in MRI imaging and hold the necessary certifications and state licensure. This role requires the ability to work flexible shifts, including potential weekend shifts as needed. The MRI Technologist will be responsible for conducting high-quality MRI scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities: • Operate MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images as per physician orders • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during imaging procedures • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality imaging services • Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines, including infection control procedures • Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required • Active West Virginia state MRI license required • Strong communication and patient care skills • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Pay package: Weekly Gross: $2,900.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $800.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $2,100.00 Per Week
