Level 4 Trauma Center Certified geriatric ED 130 beds General Information: Beds: Will you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? No, 3 years of recent hospital experience or equivalent behavioral health experience Will you accept a first-time traveler? NO Patient Types: Adults (no peds, except ED patients) Patient Ratios: 15:1 for inpatient floors Required Licensure & Certifications: Licensure: Masters in Social Work; must have WA LICSW, current, not probationary BLS Skills required: Behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning; case management; discharge planning for post-acute placements Floating: If yes, where? Between Allenmore, Tacoma General and possible OCED in Federal Way and Bremerton (June 2025) Orientation: Approximately 1-3 days (need to be prepared to jump in to see patients day one. Scheduling: Weekend rotation: yes On call? no Holiday Expectations: priority to travelers who are willing to work holidays New discoveries only: RTO: As part of our program, we approve up to 7 days of RTO, would you like us to text you if any additional days are requested? yes Shift times: variable, depends on the unit (ED – 12 hour shifts; IP – 8 hour shifts_ Parking: uncovered parking lot, free parking 432506
