Job Title: Travel RN - South Clinical Campus - Pre-Op - Days Albany Medical Center Location: Main Campus, 43 New Scotland Ave, Albany, NY 12208 Position Type: Travel Nurse (RN) Position Duration: 12 Weeks Shift Information: • Days (Monday to Friday) • Start Time: 6:00 AM • End Time: 2:30 PM • No weekends, holidays, or on-call required. Compensation and Benefits: • Weekly Gross: $2,880.00 Per Week • On W2(Taxable): $920.00 Per Week ($23/hour) • Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,960.00 Per Week Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for the South Clinical Campus Pre-Op department at Albany Medical Center. The position requires the candidate to have experience with Epic Systems and the ability to provide excellent care in a Pre-Op setting. This position is vital for maintaining high standards of patient care before surgery and will be scheduled during regular weekday hours with no weekend or holiday commitments. Requirements: • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the nursing field, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience in Pre-Op or Surgery settings. • Certifications: Must have Epic experience (required). • Licensure: Candidates must have an active RN license in New York or be in the process of obtaining one. • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM. No weekends, holidays, or on-call shifts. Key Responsibilities: • Provide Pre-Operative care for patients preparing for surgery. • Conduct thorough assessments of patients prior to their procedures. • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth patient transitions through the pre-op process. • Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical records (EMR), specifically in Epic. • Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.
