Director of PACU - Post Surgery Unit Up to $136,593.00/year Sign-On and Relocation bonus offered BSN, BLS, ACLS required NC RN License 5 years as RN, 2 years in Management This leader will assume 24/7 responsibility for assisting in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating nursing practice on each unit. The Director will supervise and evaluate work activities of all nursing personnel and provide clinical leadership and set strategic and long-term goals for the nursing staff. The Director will assess performance objectives for each nursing unit and organize, coordinate, develop and review policies, procedures and nursing protocols to meet all regulatory, compliance and quality care standards. The Director is responsible for the quality of care, operational and financial efficiency (budgeting) of the nursing unit along with the patient experience. The Director will lead and professionally develop the nursing staff within the unit, providing performance goals, feedback and development opportunities. In addition, the Director is responsible for recruitment, hiring and training of personnel and will chair committees as assigned. Provides direct care as needed.
