Shift: 12 hours, days

1. **Schedule & Training:** The position follows a rotating 12-hour shift schedule. Initial training will take place during the first week, with shifts from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Wednesday to Friday. The regular schedule will alternate every two weeks, with the possibility of changes in mid-May. 2. **Required Experience:** Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience post-MSW in areas such as Emergency Department, Medical Social Work, Case Management, Oncology, Cancer Support, or Brief Treatment. This is not a discharge planner role. 3. **Preferred Experience:** Experience with cultural responsiveness, generalist social work, motivational interviewing, trauma management, complex psychosocial barriers (e.g., housing, immigration, financial insecurity), and collaborating in interdisciplinary teams is highly preferred. 4. **Required Certifications:** An MSW and Mass LCSW certification are required for this position. 5. **Job Responsibilities:** The role involves providing emotional and resource support to high-risk patients and families, conducting biopsychosocial assessments, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to address the impact of illness on patients' lives. The position focuses on promoting health equity, reducing social determinants of health, and advocating for patients and families.
